Mikael Akerfeldt's Best Of 2006 list!

Oh, that is some precise info...i had gonoccocal infection once, even though i enjoyed the smell of the pus, it wasn't too pleasant, so a cock tumour must suck, gunna check myself then.

just base the list on this....only one person chose the new Amon Amarth album. that thing is fucking amazing. it's tragic people are choosing shit like evanescence over that. there's some hot bitches on that list though.

Jens Johansson (Stratovarius - ex-Yngwie J. Malmsteen - Dio)

* Cult Of Luna - Somewhere Along The Highway
* The Haunted - The Dead Eye
* Eyes Of Fire - Prisons

Eyes of Fire?!?!? God they suck out loud. They opened for Opeth once... man that was hilarious. Everyone stood and shook their heads and shouted "We want Opeth!!!"

ONE girl happened to mention Ghost Reveries on her list - cool, but it's a 2005 album. Heck, she mentioned TGCD by Katatonia as well so she's, like, my new best friend or something. Good taste!

I hope the previous 2 posters get stranded together on an iceberg, and end up cannalizing each other for the betterment of society.

I have been a TOOL fan since the beginning, and the fact of the matter is that I think it is their best album ever. Jambi and Rosetta Stoned are the two songs that stand out on the album for me the most, and I think they are the two most important TOOL songs of all time. They have all the musical elements that make TOOL, TOOL.

You do not have to agree with me, I am just stating my opinion. I would love nothing more to see than Opeth open for TOOL. Imagine 10,000 people per night for lets say 50 nights see them. Lot's more Opeth fans, and that is good for the band. Melinda needs a new house....LOL

I do agree with Mike about Scott Walker's "The Drift". I have burned a few copies for my friends, and they either look at me like I am a complete wacko, or a musical genius.... and I owe it to Peter and Mike for talking about it in one of their interviews.

^Agreed, it is a great album, basically a synthesis of Tool's career, it brought nothing new to the table and it is not as great as Lateralus, but still very good.

I agree, the last tour was a more "cohesive" show for the fan. This album will grow on you. I hated it first, but I hated Lateralus at the first few spins, then I saw them live a few days after 9-11 at the Palace of Auburn Hills, and it sold me on the album.

The grudge wouldv been more than welcome on the 10k days setlist. But wingsformarie really did make up for it. I prefer the setlist overall to the last tour rather than the one they did in like 2002 or smth.
