Mikael and Baglama

i own such a "thing" but someone told me it is called "SAZ" ? And I dont know how to tune "it". Can anyone tell me?
But its fun to noodle around on it, you can also do very cool tapping stuff on it...

Check out this article. There is a little section on tuning. Apparently the first two strings (or sets of strings) are most commonly tuned to A and D. Then the third string can be tuned to anything from D to G. I'm sure a quick google search would bring up a lot more.

Although people use the two terms interchangeably, Saz is more like the band who plays where Bağlama is the musical instrument that is used by one of the members of the band.
For all practical purposes you can use them interchangeably. People would hardly notice the difference.

And for all who is curious, listen to Ocean Land from the album Mabool by Orphaned Land. Pretty good song actually thanks to Bağlama.

I am curious about what Mikael's genius mind would produce with Bağlama..
