Community used to be such a big part of online gaming...now days not so much despite all the things that try to make it happen.

as someone who plays battlefield 3 (ill try not to migrate too much :p), i can see how its changed. the community is the worst group of self entitled children ever . they release balance updates to appease the masses of whiners (some good complaints though), it fixes the major problems and introduces more. personally i dont find it a big deal, as skill>gun stats. and recently an article was released about how hacking in it is more prevalent than once thought, and many people use small things like show when someones aiming at me, or show all enemies on the map.

it makes me wish i was into PC FPS gaming back in the days of quake and unreal

The thing is that when Quakeworld ruled online gaming most players were adults, or at least ~18+, kids couldnt handle computers that well back then and the controls and physics was much harder to master.
Nowdays everything is served on a plate and there is a new game released every other month or so.
It will never be the same.

I really enjoy Heritage and feel like it's the beginning of something even better to come with the next fullength. Acoustic wise it's pretty typical Opeth, but electric wise it's something new for the band. Fredrik is an excellent lead guitarist, the keyboards are great. Opeth went as far as they could using the chord progressions and idea's they were using since My Arms, Your Hearse. I have not really read a lot of reviews for the album, and as many people that probably enjoy the album. The band probably alienated some fans by throwing out what really makes the band. And side note death metal vocals would not fit any of the material on Heritage. I don't even miss the growls. Dan Swano went clean, Katatonia, Paradise Lost, Amorphis(for the most part). And these bands while some people not enjoying their later works. More people like the newer stuff than dislike it. Chances are more people enjoy Heritage than dislike it.

Mikael is easily one of the best growlers, but even than am curious to hear the new transition of Bloodbath musically and with the new vocalist. It's good to change stuff up despite enjoy bands with consistancy. Usually you always want to hear the same vocalist because in a lot of ways it helps define a band sounds/indentity, but am pretty curious who the new growler is.
