mixing contest, paid job offer, rock music

Its not that simple as you may have opportunity to see same day :). So we ask a little help that's all.

Ermmm sure dude - I've released albums before. Granted I've always mixed them myself, but I know I wouldn't leave the choice of MY albums mix up to a bunch of random strangers on the internet.

Honestly, it's insulting to the people who put in time and effort mixing these tracks, only to be put up for public referendum. They were mixing for YOU, not for joe schmoe on the internet. If you like their work, you pay them for it. If you don't, then don't chose to work with them. But don't hold a 'contest' and then put up a poll, that's just stupid.

True. Not that I'm really bothered myself, but as a general idea it's a bit off.

Whose top of the charts doesn't represent the best music, the same principle applies here. You should choose what you and your band mates think is closest to what you want.

I agree with Jeff. Not to mention that not even all the entries were represented in the poll, so the entire thing is self-defeating. Anyway, the handling of this whole thing is a bit sus, so good luck to you guys, but I'm starting to lose interest.

You’ve right! My colleagues from band, threw everything on my head and I'm a little frustrated. For now, I hesitate between: F, G, M and A. But I still listen on different gears.

it's cool, just take your time and listen over all the mixes posted, email the people who you're interested in and get quotes or rough estimates and then finally make your decision, making it public if you want to.

“A” mix officially wins, whose author is Dandelium. Thank you for taking part in the competition. Cheers!!

I do not get how the hell you can say Dandelium wins the competition when some people were not at all represented in it.

Pick who's mix you like best that fits your budget and get on with it - if you don't, I refuse to listen to your music and will assume that your band is shitty because the people in it are retarded and illogical.

;)

Congrats to Dandelium, I know he'll do a great job.
I still don't get for what possible reason you left it to random people on the internet to vote on who mixes your precious music
Also, what was your reasoning for just not including some of the mixes?

Well We can not help it that you don’t understand. Although I said (probably twice) that the mix was chosen by all band. As for mixe’s. Cruel truth is that some mixes there was no sense of place them in to a form because we did not like . ??
Thank again man! From this forum , there was best mixes from all (you can hear).
BTW JeffTD – don’t you worry about the budget ok.?
