fwiw mods can't ban people. Only Deron can (as far as I knew)

I can ban people. You need access to the moderator control panel to do it. Not all mods have access apparently.

I've never tried to ban anyone, but I was tempted several times to overturn my ban from the Symphony X forum. Never did it though.
