Khanate - Khanate (This just might be just a personal favorite of mine, but anyone who's into drone doom always refer to this band and this album. It's brilliant but definitely not for everyone.)

Not really. I mean, I can still get down to some Nevermore, but they haven't really done anything that makes them stand out. I'd rather listen to Sanctuary.

Into the Mirror Black, sure, but Refuge Denied is pretty average and only really stands out because of the cover and Mustaine connection. The Politics of Ecstasy was a much more interesting and original album for its time than that one.

Those hail and antaeus albums are one and done listens. Nothing overly special about them.

Reading this thread is kinda interesting, especially when someone who doesn't listen to predominately black or death metal posted. It's nice to get a different perspective for once.
