Modern Warfare 2 - who´ll grab it?

also ps3 guys:
whats a good way to clean a ps3 controller?
i spilt a bit of really sugary, sticky cider (yes, cider, before someone busts out any dirty jokes >:{) on my ps3 controller on new years eve and a bunch of the buttons are a hassle to press down now. my square button is mega-unresponsive feeling.

I saw this game in action and I just need to play it now. As if I don't have enough expenses as it is

I was thinking of going for the Xbox 360 (maybe even used if I'll find a good deal) because I can't really shell out a lot of cash for this. The game looked so fantastic, I just can't wait to get to play it myself! Haven't had this feeling for a long-ass time...

What do you guys think, would going for the 360 be my best option? Also, what do you think about the single player mode in MW2? I've heard it's pretty bad, but I thought it looked pretty fucking epic. Who cares if the story sucks? You'll get to shoot people at epic looking places

I hate using a controller in fps games. Have you guys been able to adjust to playing with one, or is it possible to use a keyboard and mouse to play?

Dude, you have no idea how accurate this is to my feeling on it  Usually an incoherent, disjointed story in a game would piss me off (especially after the strength of the first), but all the different places you get to kill mofuckas make it so freakin' awesome :D And the controls are so smooth with the controller, you'll pick it up in no time (and yes, I'd vote 360 definitely)

Thanks Marcus :D sounds pretty good. I didn't think I'd buy an xbox 360 because of motherboard failures and problems with DVD-drives, but I'm hoping they've fixed those problems by now.

I heard there's one more new motherboard model coming for the 360, I'm wondering if I should wait for it to hit the market. But if I did that, I might as well wait for the next generation consoles, and I don't think I'll be able to do that :D

xbox 360 - $200
Modern Warfare 2 - $50
Upstate NY white kid saying, "mofucka" and making it sound convincing?

...priceless.

dont have ps3 but the logical thing to me would be take the controller apart and use rubbing alcohol with a q-tip...worked for my 360 controller

Its easier, safer and better to use denatured alcohol, as it dissolves the sugar and then evaporates(Without damaging the electronics.). :)

(Ive restored ~8 Sega controllers this way.)

yeah but he has also problems with sticky buttons.
the plastic parts need to be cleaned and the
best way to remove sugar from plastic is using water!:)

I dont know if i agree with you there.. denatured alcohol dissolves the sugar, thats the whole point.
One of the Sega controllers i restored was basically glued together by dried Cola.. nastiest thing ive ever seen(Shame i didn't take pictures.)
I pulled it apart, and soaked all the plastic pieces in denatured alcohol while i cleaned up the circuitry with a q-tip(Dipped in denatured alcohol.).
When i was done with the circuitry, i pulled out the plastic parts, wiped them of(The sugar was all gone.), and put it back together.

Edit: Just noticed that its called isopropyl/rubbing alcohol in the US! ;)

+1
Im gonna have to agree with notuern
If you just use water your basically just moving the sugar around to a different spot....denatured alcohol is perfect.

Dude, did you run a business as a kid cleaning kids' controllers or something?

haha, naah! :D
Im just a huge Sega fan.. and to get some of the games i wanted, i had to buy a complete Sega with controllers and games.
So when i had all the games i wanted, i had 4 segas and 8 controllers(All of them where broken/glitchy.)!

Also, ive had a couple of really expensive gaming mouses and keyboards that i gave an overhaul a few times.

Another "pro-tip" is when your KB is dirty:
Take a picture of your keyboard(IF you cant remember the key's placement.).
Take a fork and gently wiggle all your keys loose, then put them in the dishwasher!
If you dont have a dishwasher, you can do the same as i did with the Sega controllers: Denatured Alcohol.

Since we got mr clean over here....notuern....the N and J both dont work on my keyboard...its the mac slim aluminum wireless one...any ideas for getting this thing apart and making this work?
