Modern Warfare 2 - who´ll grab it?

As a hardcore PC gamer for over 17 years now, I have to chime in to say, "No, I won't be buying it."

PC users are getting shafted with this version. No dedicated servers, 18 player limit for multiplayer matchups, etc. etc. A total console port. It's really disgusting, considering IW made thier names as PC developers.

Im feeling the same way about it.. now i might buy it for my Xbox instead, but i think its f-ing retarded to play FPS-games without keyboard and mouse..

The good part about this whole mess is that its a fairly easy update for them to ad support to dedicated servers etc.
So hopefully, they will fix it.. otherwise, they are retarded, because MW2 could become the greatest competitive multi-player game since Counter-Strike if they wanted to.

the way i see it is that if they fix the dedicated servers on PC ill pick it up in the future and theyll get my money twice over like they did with CoD 4. but as it stands ive bought the 360 version because all my friends are getting it, and since the 360 versions and pc versions are practically identical now (aside from graphical differences and mouse and keyboard) im not losing anything by doing it this way. if the pc version had dedi servers thatd be enough excuse for me to be an antisocial bastard and not play it with buds, but yeah. id highly recommend the game, the campaign alone is one of the finest experiences to be had in gaming EVER IMO and i'm only 2 hours into it.

Ive checked out this option about the PS3 when i was considering which console to get, and apparently all games works this way, but some are a bit glitchy with the mouse-support.

Finished the single player today.

EPIC WIN

The game is even more intense and cinematographic than the first Modern Warfare. They´ve kept what was good (gameplay, sound, graphics, GUI, menus, etc) and boosted every other detail. Activision should really remove the brand Call Of Duty of the Modern Warfare games. The only thing I missed was the boosted gore from World at War. FAL shots should make gibs fly all over the place.

Dude heres your solution. Go get it at Gamestop, play it through and then return it and get 30$. Basically you just paid thirty dollars for the game. I had batman AA for like 3 weeks returned it to Gamestop and got 30$ back.

There was a little more lag than usual on the PC (for obvious reasons) but I still enjoy it. Would love to see dedicated servers though. The single-player is kickass!
