All this talk of Life Aqautic makes me want to watch it now. I LOVED Royal Tenebaums fwiw.

Criterion supposedly did a phenomenal job with Life Aquatic.

I'd like to see what you think about the film. For the most part, I've found that it's usually a bigger hit iwth the younger crouds, but that's not really saying anything.

[insert Gugs comment about how young people don't know anything]

My mom adored Life Aquatic, and literally forced me to watch it. I think she watched it twice in a row the first time even. She's a bit of a movie buff really, so while I'm not going to say her opinion is better than anyone else, she's certainly informed when it comes to that art form.

When I watched it and kept going over how awesome it was, I thought "and on top of all that, it has like 30 David Bowie songs, YES!!!"

haha yeah, lately when I'm in the mood for the movie, I just pop in the soundtrack instead, cause that's usually all I want to see it for anyway.

All this talk of Bill Murray and no mention of Garfield!?

OK ok, not oscar worthy I know, but any flick that's got Jennifer Love Hewitt's tits bouncing about is alright with me. :loco:
worst movie ever, but yeah, Jennifer Love Hewitt is hawt. I have a friend from Boston who looks a lot like her:loco:

I watched the first 4 episodes of Neon Genesis Evangalion tonight. Pretty cool, but I hope it gets better. I'm already drawing parallels to Xenogears which perhaps I shouldn't do prematurely. I also masturbated during the opening credits, but I'm glad I did that.

It just felt right. Actually now that I think about it, I think it was during the FBI Warning thingy at the beginning.

Finally saw BROKEN FLOWERS ... liked it and its pacing ... ending was good too. Murray was good, but his character was sometimes acting a bit too unreal compared to the others ...
the cat scene in the Animal Comunicator office got me good though :D
