And Now For Something Completely Different
I can't believe I just watched that for the first time. Good stuff, but obviously Life of Brian and Holy Grail are the real beer/cheese/super/shitz.

Children Underground
Damn. Pretty ace move criminalizing contraception!

so you watched that? cool ...

yeah, in the 70's-80's Romania's president, made abortion illegal ... resulting in thousands of orphans ... a lot of them with AIDS ...

i don't know if people outside or Romania would get into this doc, but for me knowing the places it was filmed, hits home hard ...

Well, as a documentary I think it really worked because it didn't have much narration. In fact any that was there just said "and now they are here." It didn't have an agenda, so to speak.

Oh yeah and since I watched that about your homeland, you have to watch King Pin which is about my homeland: Mexico. :loco:

funny, as i might be involved in working on a documentary soon with some people.

someone once said that filimg a doc is the hardest thing, as usually it has no fixed end in some ways ... the filiming and research dictates its outcome ... as well as the people involved.

which is really difficult for most filmmakers as most are control freaks, and docs are totally out of control

After watching your videos, all I have to say is you need to get back into that shit niggah. :Spin:

And :kickass: for King Pin, I hope you dig it.

thanks Nad ... I think I found a project that I kind of care about ... will post some more about it in the near future if I end up being part of it.

and Kingpin ... that shit better rock :loco:
was that a TV miniseries? I keep foregetting.

Yeah, it was on Bravo I do believe, and then a censored version came on NBC. Pretty sure Kingpin was the first thing I watched via Netflix, when my mom was probably their first signerupper.

watched "Barton Fink" , oh man this one was great, the Coens have a great style and sense of humor. and John Goodman is great here, as always.

and watching this inspired me to break out "Hudsucker Proxy" again, absolutely LOVE this movie.

I saw a movie that blew me away tonight. But it wasn't the movie that was so impressive as the (true life) story it told.

In the Realms of the Unreal documents the life of some fucking loner weirdo with a crazy past who created a 15,000+ page epic with massive numbers of pictures and related info about the fictional (and completely fucking insane) world he created. Nobody had any idea he was creating any of this until he died at 81.

:zombie:

The Wicker Man (2006) starring NICOLAS CAGE, LEELEE SOBIESKI

seriously now, come onnnnnnnn stop with the remakes already

Yeah, this one's been floating around for a year or so now, really bloody stupid, but it seems to be going ahead. :(

Watched the Village again this weekend, and I liked it better the scond time around. Also watched the last Harry Potter again.

I'd gladly go see it for the chance to see Nicolas Cage be burned alive, however I have a feeling it won't end on the same note ......

Bored as hell, my friend and I watched Scary Movie 3 (:ill::zombie: ) and it is a big pile of poop, as expected. Oh god ...
