Movies

I think Mel Gibson's anti-semitism is funny.

oh speaking of, I saw Munich earlier this week: great movie I thought. Can't even remember dude's name now but the main character kicked some ass.

Lord of War: meh. Kinda redundant.

The Weather Man: a decent black comedy. Disappointing in many respects but it has some seriously funny moments. Don't watch it if you don't like or get black comedies - like Fargo

Eric Bana played in Munich.

The previews before Apocalypto were kick ass too. Children Of Men with Clive Owen, Pathfinder with Clancy Brown, and 300!!! 300 looks like its gonna be sick as fuck.

I enjoyed The Weather Man, but found it very depressing.

Watched this independant horror movie last night called Joshua, which was released by the good people at Fangoria magazine. Some interesting ideas, and a pretty good plot, but the acting was awful, there were blatant ripoffs from other movies (more in terms of camera moves/angles and character quirks than actual plot devices) and it moved too slowly.

The guys I was with spent the first half an hour or so guessing who was going to be first to die. After a while, I was hoping it would be me.

going through T. Miike stuff again. Great shit. Still need a copy of Old Boy. Never seen it :(

some of the scenes did feel just like extended improv sessions ... but there was some funny ass shit here and there

Just watched My Super Ex Girlfriend which was fucking hilarious is a goofy sorta way. Wickerman which was actually pretty damn good and pretty fucked up, but I think it was more of a B movie status. Lady In The Water was awesome I really liked it. Getting eady to watch A Scanner Darkly, Ive been waiting for this for awhie.

I'm trying to get through "Finding Neverland", but I simply can't. These fantasy sequences are just too damn cheesy to withstand. Perhaps if I were a father, I could sit through such Disney sludge. Low and behold I am not, so I won't.

"Casablanca"
The beginning seemed cool, but it failed to hold my interest later on. I was falling asleep. I didn't even see the end. Not that it was a bad movie, but I just wasn't getting into it, and I was tired.

So the 6 hour Swedish television version of Fanny Och Alexander is pretty damn awesome.

Watched Children of Men a couple of weeks ago, it was a pretty darn good movie!
