Movies

my fave moments were things like ... crusing in the Ferrari to meet the cop on the highway ...
the early morning cigarrete boat cruise with the Asian bint ... just that song ... and how he held that shot as they were speeding towards the bay

shit like that

Mann won't top Heat. That scene in the diner with Deniro and Pacino....the best shootout ever put to film....

and yeah, I know what lurch means, like when Pacino is chasing Deniro in the cars before going to the diner. the music, the camera shots, everything works.

yeah ... the scene in Colaterral when Cruise goes to the club ... and you have Paul Okenfold's Ready Steady Go playing ... just awesome

THe Unrated version of Miami Vice has 7 minutes extra, but I havent seen the Extended Directors cut. Its pretty good, not great. Im getting ready to watch Talladega Night.

It's difficult to watch Tom Cruise anymore. Those over exaggerated facial expressions when he's fighting or running....ugh. He'll always be Jerry MaGuire at the end of the day, so he's gotta skip doing these action dramas.

Heat is fucking great.

Talladgea Nights is fucking hilarious for the sheer fact that it makes Nascar look even more like the biggest hillbilly sport in the world. Theres also two Sepultura songs in the move, which i thought was really cool.

I watched it a few days ago. I thought it was hilarious, except for the part where the kids were threatening their grandpa. Other than that, I can say it's probably a little bit funnier for me because I know some people like the ones in the movie.

I know what you mean. I always ask people that like Nascar how they can justify a sport that goes three hundred miles in a circle during a time of gasoline shortage.

lolz, 'Nascar" and "Sport" in the same sentence.

Well usually after I ask that question I get a " I WANNA TALK TO YOUR MANAGER!"

Luckily shes always gone and I am in charge. Problem easily fixed with a free rental.

Well Nascar, as much as I hate it, does require quite a bit of skill and endurance ... did you know that drivers lose an average of 6 lbs. of weight during the average race?

I think people that don't "get" Nascar also don't "get" the Tour De France ...

I've heard this too and I think it's just a ploy to make it sound dangerous and mysterious. They fail to mention that the drivers drink about 12 gallons of water prior to the race and/or are being hydrated through a CamelBack type device. They finish the race with a zero net or maybe just a little dehydrated.

No I get the Tour De France. I dont mind it.

APOCALYPTO IS FUCKING BRILLIANT!!!! Anybody who doesnt like it doesnt respect great film making. Thats my opinion and Im sticking to it. Mel Gibson can dislike all the Jews he wants. Hes Mad Max and he makes movies like Braveheart and Apocalypto.
