Movies

the descent? never heard of it. is it here in the states or what?
i tried to go see devils rejects today but fell asleep on the couch. i also noticed, through moviephone, that land of the dead is down to like one movie theater in the entire nashville metro area. does it suck that bad?
ps: house of 1000 corpses sucked. too over-the-top.

SUSPIRIA ... what a piece of crap. there was about 5 minutes of scary stuff, the rest all talk.

what did all you fans of this see here that I did not?

I just watched INFERNO last night (the 'alleged' 2nd film in the 'supposed to be a trilogy' of the witches or whatever)

Much better plot than Suspiria, not as stylish though, but overall a better film.

But if you did not like Suspiria, I doubt you'll get much out of Inferno either.

Just watched Anchorman and Boondock Saints. Anchorman was fucking awful but I think Boondock Saints may turn out to be one of the better movies I've ever seen.

as a feature, Anchorman sucked, but some of the sketches were classic ... I mean the "afternoon delight" singing bit

ok ... THE BEYOND ... much better than SUSPIRIA ... nice fast plot ... gore fucking city ... good stuff

Couple of things about the DVD ... the 5.1 sound mix is great ... creepy as fuck

then there is a great NECROPHAGIA video for "you shall live in terror" which is based on the movie. all of you that have not heard this band you owe it to yourself ... their first disc, Season of the Dead, is a classic ... they have this great groove and mix on all their releases ... i think some of you would dig this. It's not Death Metal really ... somewhat like a more polished Autopsy with some kinda groove.

Also ... the doctor shooting up the zombies at the end has to be one dumb guinea :loco: ... ok ... you shoot in head ... they fall ... observe ... do not release round after round in the chest ... :loco:
