Dances With Wolves

Stunning. God damn shitfucking amazingly so.

A classic! I remember seeing that when I was like 7 and saying, "What the fuck?!!!" About a year ago, I saw it again and it all made sense. Just a great, great film.

Just watched Anchorman and Boondock Saints. Anchorman was fucking awful but I think Boondock Saints may turn out to be one of the better movies I've ever seen.
i like both of those movies a lot, i'm really fucking sick of anchorman though. i swear i must have seen it like 10 times, not kidding.

heh. if you thought boondock nerds was good, you should watch the accompanying documentary about it. you'll start to think it is the worst movie of ALL TIME. it's also funny that the band sold about 8 of their albums before just giving up. i can't remember what the doc is called though. "overnight" maybe.

I saw "devil's retards" today. not sure what to think. definitely better that "house of a 1000 turds" but i kept thinking "whats the point of this?" well, it DOES have the guy from raising arizona in it and it always nice to look at sherri moon. if you have any taste in women, you'll realize that she is gorgeous. uhm. thats all i have to say.

Run Ronnie Run

Pretty lame with a few funny parts, but with Nikki Cox in a bikini I still give it 7 thumbs up.

Stargate

Not amazing, but cool enough to rent the SG-1 series and give that a whirl. Disappointment: no Nikki Cox in a bathing suit.

EDIT: Just noticed the inchy netfux Overnight, cheers nikkuh. :Spin:

Stargate ruled. I watched the SG1 series for awhile but I got bored or something after awhile.

I watched Batman Begins again tonight. Damn that movie kicks ass.

yeah, Spiderman II ruled ... did I ever metion that the Parker home is on the same block I live on? they filmed both movies here ...
in the comic also ... Peter lives in Forest Hills ... me town [\useless info]

The Machinist

Wow, this was fucked up. My respect for Christian Bale, as an actor, just skyrocketed. This was hs best performance that I've seen, and he must have lost at least 110 pounds for this role. That dude was skinnier than an anorexic crack whore.

Definitely for fans of "it all ties together at the end" kind of movies with those surprise WTF endings.

princess mononoke

pretty cool, but like spirited away it's like there is something missing. it could be that there is no concrete resolution to plots and/or characters, and my primitive american ass can't fathom films without "and everyone lived happily ever after" endings.

wait, i just came to terms with that. okay both movies are pretty fucking flawless. :loco:

gangs of new york

well that one required a few stiff drinks to make it through, and it had nothing to do with the poor accents. fuck me, that was astounding.

I thought Gangs of New York was excellent. Coulda been better, but Daniel Day Lewis' performance pushes it up a few notches (while the presence of DiCaprio can bring it down; and even Cameron Diaz was a bit annoying)

yeah, it was great. christian bale is such a chameleon in every role he plays ... never looks the same.

DOWNFALL ... all of you HAVE TO SEE THIS !!!

one of the best war movies EVER !!! Bruno Ganz as Hitler is scary ...
the movie is about the last days of the Reich ... just brutal

oh yeah, and the actress that played his secretary ... Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian born actress is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen :OMG:

lurch, is that the one you recommended me via netshitz? i put it in my quququuquueuese.

struggling through saving private ryan right now, about to get in a quick work out for the last 30 minutes, hopefully it'll get interesting.

yes, that's the one i recommended ... i could never get through SPR in one sitting either ... I think it's Hanks

there, finished it. good beginning and ending battles, lousy story.

tom hanks sucks, what the fuck do people like about that dude. well, at least he didn't do his "big" whine in this one.
