That there Boss ODB-3 is pretty kewl like, I think I sold one for $40 some years ago.

I've also heard the Heavy Metal thing rocks on bass, but never used one. They are too much $$$ on eBay but nobody else seems to think they are worth much.

And if you find a cheap/used modified Metal Zone (by Keeley or whoever), those things kill on bass.

thanks for the info, man

mike has/had a hm-2 heavy metal, i think i borrowed it and subsequently lost it (don't tell him )

we have a DOD FX-86 DEATH METAL which is basically a feedback generator and completely useless for guitar but maybe it will be real evil on bass

dude man :bah:

Fortunately I'm pretty certain I have it somewhere but now that I think of it I can't for the life of me figure out whre. I can't remember lending it to you either though so I don't trust my memory much.

ha

there was a broken amp left by the previous band in our rehearsal room since years ago

the other day i had the idea of gutting it and making it into a 1x15" bass cabinet because it has a quite nice 15" fane bass element in it

so i just finished ripping out all the guts except the crossover filter, input and a switch to turn on/off the horn

and here she is:

Check it out. I bought two backup pedals. I've used those two constantly for 5 years so why not get some spares?

Fun fact: The two Assmasters sound NOTHING alike to my tweaker ears, the old one is way better. Fuckin' loser.

Are you sure they have the same transistors? Sometimes companies fiddle with components...
Not sure, but I do know that the PCB and switch is completely different on the newer one. Buddy of mine is friends with the Malekko dudes (of course, they also use our pickups but I usually bug my friend instead of them), there was a change in circuit at some point, but he's not sure when. I found another one on eBay this morning, and sold that amp, so hooray third Assmaster.

These are all silicon versions, like the original Brassmaster. I've also owned the germanium and double germanium versions, but I didn't like those nearly as much as the silicon. I am such a fucking fuzz freak. Oh and I sold the ILF2012 this morning to a dude at work, hooray!

I just noticed the lamb
I used to rape that thing when stuck in traffic. Oddly enough, that joke always went over well with chicks when they would find said sheep in the back of my truck. Well, the one chick that did at least. She had HUGE boobies that she let me play with. Cool.

Yah silicon rox. I like germanium in a nice Fuzz Face though. But that shit gets pretty corksniffin' and not always useful in a band context. Pretty masturbatory / expensive scotch like. Nothing wrong with that, just sayin' is all.

Hey does anyone want a Subdecay Noise Box or Malekko 616? Buddy of mine is trying to pay some medical bills and offloading stuff. Trying to help the brother out, he's a good dude.

Korg Pitchblack = just like the movie with that hunk Vin Diesel.
