Well, at least this album anyway. Beck's Sea Change is some REALLY good stuff. I still gotta rap my head around it (only spun it twice), but so far it is beautiful.
Generally the, The Soft Bulletin is far superior to Yoshimi, although both do hold a dear place in my heart. And who doesn't love Transmissions From The Satellite Heart if not for "She Don't Use Jelly"?
Wow, I thought I was the only one here who loved Beck... "Mutations" is a fantastic album. I've only heard random stuff off "Sea Change", but it seems just as good.
yeah I agree it is damn good. The funny thing is all the mainstream reviews I have read say that Beck goes back to his pop roots, instead of his mysterious and depressing album Sea Change. ITs funny, any time a big name artist tries something interesting and worthwhile, he is attacked for being too hard to understand.
