Does anyone like MYD. I think they are cool. I dont own any cds by them but one night ( or morning as it was at about 12:50 am) on 3hours of power on the radio i heard a song "Cruel taste of Winter" and absolutely loved them.

If anyone knopws this song could they recomend any other songs like them in the same manner. thanx

Hell yeah! 'A cruel taste of winter' is from their newest album 'The Dreadful hours' which is definitely worth to listen There are people here who know much more about MDB than I,so it should be better to ask them...but if you liked that song you'd probably like albums 'The light at the end of the world', 'Like gods of the sun' and 'Turn loose the swans'.

MDB have been my favourite band ever since I listen to metal.
The new album is very good, maybe the best since Turn Loose the Swans (that came out in '93). But every single of their albums is absolutely killer and I own all of them. MDB is one of those bands that will never sell out...I was speechless when I saw that they began using their old logo again on "The Light at the End of the World" and that Aaron used his death vocals for the first time in about 5 years! There are not many bands who dare to do things like that...

this album (the dreadful hours) grows pretty well on me. At first I only liked the title song but then Black Heart Romance hit me and at them moment it is my fav. of the album. I believe that most of the songs will squeese them selfs in to my head any moment now.

MDB is great! I only own The Dreadful Hours - it's one of the few albums on which every singe track is a masterpiece... Well, Return To The Beautiful is a bit less accessible but nevertheless very good.

The new album is indeed awesome, for a long time Turn Loose the Swans was my fav. album but know it´s "The Dreadful Hours"
The title song is one of the best My Dying Bride songs they have written so far! So I recommend all their albums except 34.788% not because it´s bad but it´s different so it doesn´t give you the music that Mdb stands for!

MDB have been my favourite band for the last 5 or so years. Still waiting for the new one to arrive here , but have all the others, and love them all.

Demonspell: yeah, those are good songs, I also really like the first track, and the second-to-last one (which may be one of the ones you mention, I just forgot the name right now ). The whole album is good though, some of the songs are a bit more dramatic than usuall, but great if you're in the mood for a story.
