another great band is maudlin of the well who scream and have clean vocals, and have some doomy parts. theyre one of my favorite bands. theyre a little like opeth with mixing of heavy and acoustic music.

maudlin of the well isn't doomy at all. They're a very good band nonetheless.

i also like "turn loose the swans" the most, but would recommend: "the angel and the dark river", "as the flower withers" and "the dreadful hours" as well....
"as the flower withers" is great, and includes (among others) mdb classics like: "the return of the beatiful" and "sear me" !!!
