Well, deja vu is when you experience something and think 'hey, this has happened before', when it often hasn't. One theory could be that you get deja vu 'cause you've dreamt about certain things, which remain in the sub-conscious, but don't actually remember until a similar experience happens in real life.

When I get deja vu I always remember saying "I remember this being deja vu". I dream of things, then I have deja vu of it. I'll always wake from a dream thinking "what the fuck was that about? I never kissed her, let alone talked to her" or something just as stupid, and then it'll happen. Or I'll just remember dreaming about it when I 'experience' it. Shut up.
