Myspace.com: Good or Bad????

Like Lioness said, I can use it to keep in touch with friends that I otherwise would not have seen for perhaps years. Very rarely, however, do I use it to find bands.

Another use is finding out about concert/release dates, etc. that you might sometimes miss, and other people catch.

I have it, I have 50 people... People I know from around utah, and a few from round here, and some old friends that I'd like to still talk to occasionally.

I have one rule I follow, if I don't recognize the person from their name/picture/about me, I just don't add them. If they sent me an email or something explaining who they were, it might be a different story, but if I don't know you, I don't care.

I'm kind of on the same plane as Lioness, except that my profile is public. I only accept friend requests from people I know. However, I get a shitload of band requests.

one thing I've noticed is more and more bands keep their myspace page updated better than their formal web site....prolly cause myspace doesn't require any particular web knowledge.
