A Clash of Kings is the sequel to Thrones.

A Storm of Swords is the third book. Don't know when the 4th is going to come out. It's taking the guy like 3 years already.

Last time Martin updated his site vis-a-vis Feast of Crows progress (June) he said it was still not done. It's apparently going to be REALLY FUCKING HUGE. Like, as long as Storm if not longer. Can't wait.

NoLordy, you do need to read Clash of Kings and Storm of Swords. They rule hard.
