In my opinion, amps will always be better than amp sims. The only real reason I use POD Farm is because I'm really poor.
But, I suppose it may be a good choice if you work with newer bands who may not know what type of tone they want to use or just want something that sounds pretty "Sturgis."
The set up is really simple, anyways, and it's only $100 so why not?

I bought a POD a few weeks ago and am struggling trying to get a decent tone.
(i'm starting with a rough joey preset) but i can never seem to get a decent tone.. i was beginning to think it was impossible to get a good un-eq-ed tone
