Need help with my Recto Amp Sim

Hey Brandon, I received my Mac ealier this week. Give me some times to, at least, install what it is needed (Xcode and...). I'll definitely port some of my amp sims to Mac. Be patient ;)
I really want to give you a totally non-gay bro hug right now. :D

Had to http://dl.dropbox.com/u/799706/bleed.mp3 ^______________^

Passive pickups here

It's Lecto and a bit of the low end of podfarm's recto, not because LeCto lacks it, just because i'm used to it.

Your sim is plain fucking awesome LePou!!!!!

/edit/ just wanted to insist a little more on the fact that i love this sim, i'll be playing a lot more because of this, it's been an eternity waiting for it! /edit/

Well, I noticed at least Cubase on Mac doesn't seem to accept AUs, but in my experience AUs are more sought for among Mac users. There are AU to VST converters, as well as VST to AU converters, so investing in one of those programs any mac user can use your plugin. Reaper is widely used as well, and it accepts both AUs and mac VSTs.

Here's a go with it. I'm really digging this sim! I have a feeling this is going to be my go-to for when I'm writing. All of the guitars were done with the Recto sim. Quad tracked, Orange Vintage and Red Modern on each side, boosted with TSS. It was run through LeCab with a Recto 4x12 impulse (no idea who it's from, sorry!!). The guitar was a PRS SE Mike Mushok Baritone with a PRS Tremonti Treble in the bridge.

It's rough, I just tracked it over the past couple hours.

mac vst and mac au
Yeah I guess to convert to both would be the optimum, allthough a lot more work :D

(Apples Support documents concerning AU development)

Software that uses AU plugins: GarageBand, Soundtrack Pro, Logic (Express + Pro), Final Cut Pro, Mainstage, Ardour, Ableton Live, REAPER, Digital Performer

Which software besides Cubase uses Mac-VST, by the way?

Probably none, it's Steinberg after all, they invented the VST so why would they accept the AU by Apple... It would only help every mac plugin programmer out there  fuck setting standard formats, eh? I guess the same could be said about AU... But I still think it's stupid.

Almost as stupid as FailTools RTAS

All those clips sound amazing, waiting patiently :D

And another +1 on AU, haven't played around with GUI yet, but implementing the core processing is so easy in Xcode, it creates most of the Project all by itself :D

have you tried it already gemini? ... legion + lecto in quadtracking = brick shitting.

Even running on passive pickups, lecto fucking slays... i'm getting an omen7 soon anyway.. hopefully...
