I want to write a letter about how people have compassion for things not in their own backyard but they stand around and watch while an obviously pregnant woman colapses in front of them or even walk over her.

I feel bad when I see a pregnant woman on the bus and I think, "Should I give her my seat?" but then I think, "Well, hang on, maybe she's not pregnant, maybe she's just big" and then I feel bad because what if she IS pregnant and I'm not giving her my seat, but I don't want to stand and say, "Here you go, you're obviously carrying a bub" and she'll say, "I certainly am not!" and hit my with her shopping. And then I'll be sad.
