ok so im working on a mix for my band and i just finished replacing the scratch guitars with new tracks. i listened back to it and it sounded fine, then i went to edit some of the tracks to make the choppy parts sound cleaner, and all of a sudden, EVERY SINGLE TRACK IS PLAYING IN FUCKING MONO! >:[ so now with guitars, drums, bass, vox, etc., when i have them panned to taste, they all play in the center., and when i actually pan to the center, it just makes it sound uber mono. wtf?
can somebody PLEASE tell me how that came to be and/or how i can remedy said problem? i have no clue how to fix it and its really getting to me. ive spent soooo much time on this one mix and i really do not want to restart everything, because its quite a technical song, so im sure you can imagine how shitty it sounds when you have all these leads and harmonies playing in the same spot.
