Once I have a child, I'll definitely call it Neurisican. If it is a girl though, it will be Mia.

Some of the "Neurisican" bands have moments of exquisite beauty, however some just don't. This genre too easily appeals to lazy musicianship and the results are tragic. That being sad, I enjoy some of it, hear and there. Obviously Neurosis is all that and a bag of chips, I dig Pelican, Isis I'll have to listen to more of, and some of the other bands like I said I could take or leave depending.
