I am somewhat ashamed to say that despite being a huge fan I have not yet listened to their latest effort so I can't really take that into account.

These guys have never released anything subpar though. You cannot go wrong with any of them.

For some stupid reason I've only just got into this band now, I bought Given to the Rising and absolutely love it. I'll definitely be getting into their back catalogue very soon.

I think it's one of if not the best album of theirs.

I have the Souls at Zero albums from Neurosis and a song off of their "Silver" album called Locust Star but that's it and it's really awesome stuff. My favorite song from Neurosis is Flight out of the 11 songs I heard. I just love how intense Flight is.

Isis is basically Neurosis Lite (I still like them though, especially the Oceanic album). I'd say they are a bit more organic sounding than Neurosis.

I'm not a huge fan but I think they are good. They would be much better without the guy with the really heavy American accent moaning over it all

the best is the album Pain of Mind, cuz this album is a raw and classic HC/Crust from 80's.
