Yes I am starting my own thread!

So, I arrive at Jaxx at 5-ish in the afternoon, 2 hours before doors open,
(mainly because I was at a baby shower before that, and it ended too early, so instead of driving back to Arlington for 2 hours, I just stayed in Springfield)
So I got in, had an early Red Bull, just in time to catch the Sound Check:

JAXX was sold out, or should I say, it feels like it was over sold out… the place was PACKED,
and I mean, P-A-C-K-E-D in a way that you couldn’t even move from your spot! I’ve seen Jaxx on sold out nights before, it was nothing like last night let me tell you…

Into Eternity opened, and they were pretty good… I wish they could just focus on
Growls instead of those clean vocals… Their set was really good, I watched it from upstairs with my buddy Tony (hi Tony! )
and pretty much enjoyed what I saw (again, those opera moments have to go….)

Then I spotted En Vind Ev Sorg from upstairs and came down to say hi.
It was so cool seeing you again Ellis! (sorry if I misspelled your name!)
Too bad we didn’t get a picture together!
And I’m sorry I never came back, I looked for you later on (after Nevermore)
And couldn’t find you, you left early huh?

Then of course….. Nevermore came on stage…
What can *I* possibly say that no one has said before…. What a show!
Once nevermore go on stage it is sooooo hard to play after them.. they just crush the venue and make it obvious that they rule the planet.
I had such a good time!

The best thing about last night’s show was that they played an hour long!
What a fantastic hour that was… they even played This Godless Endeavor (9 minutes long!) and that was definitely a treat.
Nevermore just rule on stage, I’m speechless.

Nice pics. I wish there was a place like Jaxx near here, they get all the good tours. I've got to drive to Cleveland to see most of the shows I want to.

And by the way, I agree about Into Eternity, they would be a lot better without the Sleep Theater stlye vocals.

Fucking awsome pics!! Loomis and Smyth look mighty as always! It was such a great show, all bands were fantastic. River Dragon, Beyond Within and THIS GODLESS ENDEAVOR were definately the highlights of their set. Words cannot express what an amazing evening last night was. Going back tonight for the death metal showcase! CHEERS!!
