I think we all knew that Mustaine produced Sanctuary's first album...but I was just browsing through the archived interviews on the Nevermore site and found some interesting comments which Warrel Dane made regarding Mustaine in a 98' interview.
Here are the comments:
"Interviewer: I heard that Dave Mustaine had some type of involvement with you when you were in Sanctuary. Is that right?
WD: He produced our first album. I haven¡¯t spoken to him since then, either. Not by my choice.
I: Now they¡¯re the big Rock stars, right?
WD: I guess so, yeah. I don¡¯t know, Dave Mustaine was very instrumental in helping us. I¡¯d probably wouldn¡¯t be talking to you right now if it wasn¡¯t for Dave Mustaine. He gave us our start, and I¡¯m really grateful to him for that. But I haven¡¯t talked to him in a long time.
I: Do you think with the exposure that bands like Megadeth have been getting helps everybody?
WD: Yeah, I think so. Back then, Metal was really hip. And it certainly didn¡¯t hurt having bands like Megadeth putting out Platinum records. I think it opened the door for a lot of bands like Sanctuary¡ It just didn¡¯t open them wide enough. Actually, you know, I really wonder what would¡¯ve happened to Sanctuary if we hadn¡¯t broken up, because we had ton of records out, and I thought we were finally getting up all this momentum and then our next record was going to do it for us. Then the other guys in the band started writing crap music. And now I¡¯m kind of feeling like ten years later I¡¯m back at the same place again - where now Nevermore is building up all this momentum. And the stuff that we¡¯re writing right now is amazing. It¡¯s going to be the best record we have ever done. And I¡¯m pretty excited about it. I feel like I¡¯ve got a second lease on life. Most people don¡¯t get even one chance to put out a record and tour the world. I¡¯m pretty lucky that I¡¯ve got to do it in two bands."

WHY DON'T THESE TWO BANDS GET TOGETHER AND TOUR UPON RELEASING THEIR NEXT ALBUMS?! Mustaine and or Dane should contact each other imo.
