NEW ALBUM "BLOODDRUNK"

:lol::lol::lol:

AYDY is their weakest, but is not bad, You just have to look at it as a metal album, and not expect neoclasical shreding and ''the old stuff'', just listen to it as AYDY. Is not that bad IMO.

Weakest from what stand point exactly? I for one have never actually been a fan of the old method where one guitar plays a melody and the other one plays power chords, it's actually quite a primite way of writing songs.

Dunno, IMO it's the weakest because the melodic/soloing thing is what I've always liked most of COB, and also because the songs were a bit more 'random', meaning that it was not exactly AABBABCB, they tended to be a bit more caothic, and I loved that. In AYDY they are very structured and even though I like the album (I'm in love with Living Dead Beat,) I miss that things.

Yeah, that's true. I love progressive music aswell, but when it gets to chaotic, as you mentioned, it doesn't really do it for me. I pretty much only listen to CoB for the riffs, which on AYDY seemed to be the most reminiscent of Sinergy (which i enjoy more than anything done by CoB)

You just mentioned one of the things I used to love about COB: this organic flow of the song. They used to just write what they thought was right, and the songs had a natural, nice feeling of progression. I once showed some Hatebreeder songs to my guitar teacher and he was impressed with this detail as well.

Joe, I know the internet is not the best place to say important things, but tell me when are we going to be able to see Alexi/Kimberly/whichever member of this bands to tell them ''in person'' anything? I myself have waited for long outisde the venue (security throws people out when the show ends) where I usually atend gigs and I've waited for COB, Slayer and Sonata Arctica and any band even did signing. Dave Lombardo ignored everyone and Tom Araya just smiled while being escorted to the tour bus. All the others from the three bands weren't even seen by anybody. Maybe it's because Spain is one of the shitiest countries when it comes to metal shows/events (I can't deny that, and it really pisses me off, we've been forgot by Unholy Alliance and Black Crusade tour, too much for few time), but the only way I'd have to tell anything to this people would be either a) jump on stage during the show and scream at their ear(and then be thrown outside the venue by security) or b) use the net. I would like to be able to talk to them in person, but I'm not allowed. And sure I'm not the only one, so if he said it directly to Kimberly, IMO he's not a moron, because most likely he, like myself, won't have acces to this people in person.

tl;dr

I know it can be annoying to have to read all the time how an album sucked, but hopefully we'll all forget about this when the new album comes out. It's just that, in this forum, in which we have quite a big share of people who won't tolerate any divergent opinions, people get flamed for saying AYDY sucks. And when we flame back, we are just "crybabies" and we should just "forget about it". Ok, so is just praising allowed? I have done my share of praising too, but I have my opinions, am I not allowed?

I'm not saying you can't have an opinion. But people who voice the same opinion a million times should find something new to discuss. If you didn't like it fine. I don't like caramel, but I don't talk about how much I detest it. I can tolerate other opinions, I have a wide taste in music so I can understand why people like things, and why they don't. I can see why some people don't like AYDY, but I really loved it. And that fact aside, I would also tell osmeone who says "OMG COB IS THE BEST BAND EVER ANYONE WHO SAYS OTHERWISE IS A FAGGOT" to stfu.

Cool songtitles, I like them. :)

So, if those were descriptions of the lyrics, how is Lobodomy related to lake Bodom? Unless another one is Bodom-related? :err:

I'm a bit of slow but anyway it's cool to know all the songtitels - now I'm really looking forward the new album. The name Blooddrunk sounds good as do the songtitles. Don't know what else to say... so, maybe I just keep my hands off the keyboard till I get that fucking album.

That will probably be my fav song because of the story behind it ..! Seriously, I think it's just healthy for Alexi to do a song like that. Y'know ;). Go Lobodomy!

...Why do you guys always end up discussing about how suck ass album AYDY is, even though now you could talk about Blooddrunk? That's just insane and B-O-R-I-N-G.
I'm thinking exactly the same way as Heartless_Name:

My post was kind of pointless, but y'know - what ever the fuck, I'm bored :loco:.

/edit/ arrghh! Too much typing errors >.<.

I don't quite like the new names. But when I think about it, many bodom names are silly...As long as you don't know the songs. From what I've read it looks out to be a great album. I'm really looking forward to it and some of my other favourite bands who are releasing albums in 2008. :)

dunno if anyone posted this yet...
