NEW BEHEMOTH

Are you serious? We're in agreement? What's wrong with the world!!?

Haha, well the topic of guitar tones hasn't come up yet, but from what I can tell I'm digging this! (it's just so hard to get excited about anything with such a poor mastering, or lack of any mastering)

man
liking the apostasy's mix so much more
so much atmosphere in that album
and this is just like HERRO WE ARE METAL BAND CHUGCHUG SNAPPY SNARE LOL
sick track though!

You're digging it?

Yup, that's what I said! :D

HAhahaahahahahahhaha, yeah, I feel ya, though I don't think we're gonna get much support on this :D However, I do think this one feels more natural than Demigod, kind of a perfect balance between the drum sounds of the last two albums (thank god the kick is much more reminiscent of "The Apostasy", I HAET the kick sound on Demigod - and holy FUCK those toms on this one are god-like!)

yeah, it seems like a nice standpoint between the last 2 albums for sure
and im with you on demigod's production
feels way too sterile for a band like behemoth.
i miss the apostasy's snare :(

The music slowly drowned out as I was enchanted by the picture of Orion whipping the midget. Wonder if he's the roadie.

But yeah, the song has that nice Behemoth grit to it. I'm digging it so far.

probably not any better quality, but there is a version on youtube that was just uploaded about 4 hours ago.

Sounds cool to me...I own no Behemoth and wouldn't consider myself a fan...But this sounds great. Can't say I agree with the slant/message of the band, but the song rocks IMO.

Hahahahaahahahahahahaha, nice

Eh, with these kinda bands I always just regard it as theatrics and never take it seriously (even if the bands themselves do, which is probably the greatest insult I could give to them :heh:  )

It's funny, Nergal is the most brutal/evil frontman out there, ye tin interviews he is so soft spoken and humble. He was mentioning having Christian friends and such, yet when I saw them at BB Kings (with their posh restaurant 20 feet away, with old timers dressed up and getting food), he was shouting "YEAH, THERE ARE A LOT OF CHRISTIANS IN YOUR COUNTRY, YEAH WE DON'T FUCKING LIKE THAT, THIS IS WHAT WE SAY TO THEM: FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK YOUUUU," or something to that effect haha.

HAhahahahahahahaha, how eloquent  And I fucking love BB King's, my favorite venue I've been to IMO! When I saw them there a few years back me and my buds actually spoke to him for a bit when he was walking near the side of the stage between bands, and yeah, totally laid back friendly dude, just like in all these vids! The dude seriously is one of my idols :worship:

Hah, as probably no one of you guys know, Nergal is now actually pretty famous here in Poland, but not becouse the new album coming or something. Few newspapers had speculated about his alleged romance with a pop-star (only locally, small chance you know her)! So he is now better known as her would-be boyfriend :D

She is called Doda and there is 98.9% chance that statistical Polish girl below 13 years has her poster on the wall.

Ugghh, stupid trendy glasses, but yeah, she looks slammin', and good for him - he's a handsome talented devil, he deserves her! (provided she isn't a total dumb broad of course :D)

I beg to differ on the venue bro! I have seen many a gig there and have been rewarded with shit sound, outrageously overpriced drinks (it's times square, so I can let that slide), sound guys who intentionally sabotaged Necrophagist's gig (told so by Muhammad), short sets, amps blowing up...I just hate it with a passion.

Ironically, of the handful of times I have seen a band with good sound there, Behemoth sounded great!

Nokia Theater is a far, far superior venue dude!

I finally got to listen to the song.

I quite like the mix actually, from what I can tell of myspace quality that is. The drums are the best they've had in my opinion. That was always my gripe with "Demigod". I think "Demigod" had their BEST guitar tone, but the snare and kick sound soooo fake that it's a bit of a turnoff. The opposites goes go "the apostasy" for me!

At first I didn't like the tone on this new one, but it is kind of growing on me. Pops nicely, you can hear all the details, doesn't get lost at all in the mix.

the track rapes, even with the unmastered/hastily mastered sound and lack of bass guitar. much better than basically everything on the apostasy tbh.

and bb kings is one of the worst venues for metal eos. the immolation mini-dvd and the immortal dvd both prove this, as the sound is fucking terrible on both releases.

and nergal is my hero. "we're not buying this bullshit and don't care if you do or don't. PISS ON IT, BURN IT, CHRISTGRINDING AVENUE" (while ripping up a bible...wonder if they get a deal on bulk-buying bibles?)
