New CD's that you have gotten recently

The End is running a pretty huge 50% off sale, in case you were wondering if there was a better way to spend your electric bill money.

do they even sell metal stuff anymore? I stopped ordering from them years ago due to lack of decent stuff.

I remember when they vended the first Milwaukee Metalfest I went to. Thier whole table was filled with every CD I wanted. They were the ultimate distro. Now they have so much other stuff, metal seems to fall by the way side there.

There's plenty of metal (even the old bullet belt kind), but yeah, it's scattered in with ambient, drone, sludge, post-rock, avant-metal and a dozen other genres you're not going to be interested in.

I grabbed these:

Dawnbringer: Into the Sun
Eden's Curse: self-titled
Eden's Curse: The Second Coming
The Haunted: Warning Shots
Ignitor: Year of the Metal Tiger
Mago de Oz: Jesus de Chamberi (w. DVD)
Orange Goblin: Healing Through Fire (w. DVD)
The Poodles: In the Flesh DVD
Stormwitch: Eye of the Storm (reissue)
Stormwitch: Tales of Terror (reissue)
Stormwitch: Walpurgis Night (reissue)
Type O Negative: Bloody Kisses (Top Shelf Edition)
The Who: The Who Sell Out (Deluxe Edition)
Wicked Angel: The Remastered Collection

and White Wizzard: High Speed GTO on vinyl.

All for $104.

Yep, like JG said, they're carrying a bunch, and a lot is on sale. I remember seeing Zuul, High Spirits, Nachtmystium, Bestial Mockery, Alcest, etc. Thousands of metal albums on sale. Worth a look, anyway. They're dirt cheap.

There are just better ones out there I would rather spend my money on that support metal.

^LLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

And I'm the kvlt/hipster/fanboy/trying to hard-type for saying a format that lets me get regularly full albums + shipping for less than a value meal is a valid way to release music.....

I like to pay more. When you are a heavy spender like myself...money is no object.

Screw that. I buy a lot of discs, and am VERY conscious of price (as I'm sure Jeremy will confirm). So the End has a bunch of non-metal stuff? They have cheap metal CDs - and titles I've been meaning to pick up for a while, at that - and free shipping. That's all I need to know.

Bob always pays more than he needs to.
It's the luxory of being a swinging single.
When Bob says, "I bought dinner for the ladies" this is the extent of such expenditure:
