I actually recently got a trim myself.
Anyhow, back on topic.
I picked up the new VoiVod yesterday. On sale for $7.99 @ Best Buy this week.
I really like what I am hearing. Great to hear the "Blower Bass" again too.
I was walking down the aisle where the new Helloween would be.
Just as I entered the aisle, I saw this guy pick up the only copy they had.
I go to him, "Are you grabbing that Helloween?" He goes, "Yeah"
Without thought, I screamed, "F*ck"....
He was so taken aback, and goes, "sorry........."
LOL!!! I told him it was no big deal.

I'm interested to check out the new Voivod. 7.99 is definitely a great price. I'll sample some songs on youtube first.
I ordered some CD's from Shadow Kingdom but I'm not telling what yet. You will just have to wait in suspense to hear in a few days.

I got the new Helloween and Voivod yesterday. Listened to the Helloween on the way to work....I like it very much. I will listen to the Voivod tomorrow.

Yeah, the VoiVod is a bit all over the place, but would you expect anything different?
It is definitely more of a back to their signature sound (IE - think Hatross through Angel rat maybe?)
Anyhow, I am digging it more and more each time I hear it.

I'm as surprised as you are. The last time I tried getting a CD from there was when Blind Guardian's "A Night at the Opera" came out. I asked if they had it, and a guy told me they had two copies in the back but he couldn't find them. That's when I knew I had to rely on mail orders.

LOL, well, I am on a work PC, so I usually watch the language.
My Best Buy has actually been pretty good about carrying new released by bigger labels, esp EAR Music, Century Media, Nuc Blast, Metal Blade, Peaceville, the End, etc. Sure, not every title by those labels, so you wont get everything.
The issue though is I doubt they will ever get the Helloween back in stock which is a bummer.
I have come across a bunch of Mago De Oz CD's at Best Buy, bunch of the
90's Helloween CD's and lots of stuff I would never expect to see there.
