New CD's that you have gotten recently

Ordered and awaiting delivery:

Children of Bodom - Tokyo Warhearts
Savatage - Sirens
Savatage - The Dungeons are Calling
Savatage - Japan Live '94

The only Savatage albums I don't have are FFTR, Power of the Night, and Dead Winter Dead, plus the other live one(s).

Whatever you do, don't get FFTR. I did once and regretted it.

Here is your internet metal credit then >>>

I'm talking about studio albums only. That's all I really care about.

Then you obviously never heard the original version of STREETS.
Granted, it depends on how much of a fan you are of STREETS.
If you are, you would care that you didn't have this, assuming you don't.

I have never heard the original version of Streets.
I am a fan of Streets. Ten years ago I might have took to the internet to track something like this down, but I left my Savatage fanboy days behind with my Dream Theater fanboy days.

Well, I don't have all this extra rarity stuff because my own doing.
Our singer is hands down the biggest Savatage fan in the world.
He has stuff band members dont even have.

coming from the guy who says he cant afford to do a CD release on his label.

I did pay for these back in November when I was working.

Also these did not cost me over a grand, no where near that much. Plus when releasing a cd, there is no guarantee that i will break even. And if i dont break even relatively quickly then the label is done. Of course a profit is much more preferred thatr way i can keep the label rolling with new releases. But Bob, i am planning a cd release this summer, ive talked to a few bands. I graduate from school in May and will be back to working full time this summer (currently unemployed) soo i should be able to do it.

Also, if i do pretty well at Ragnarokkr vending this year, all that money will go towards a cd release.

Hadn't bought anything in awhile, so picked up a brand new copy of King Diamond - Abigail this week. One of the '97 remasters.

You don't have Power of the Night?
Don't you live in America?

Now I have to check my Savatage collection just to see what I've got, since you guys are all talking about 'em.

CD:
-Streets
-Edge of Thorns
-Handful of Rain
-Dead Winter Dead
-Hall of the Mountain King
-The Wake of Magellan
-Poets & Madmen

Vinyl:
-Power of the Night
-Hall of the Mountain King

And, at the risk of starting an argument, I think Hall of the Mountain King and Poets & Madmen are my two favorite albums from them...

And Power of the Night is in the same boat as Armored Saint - Raising Fear... One of the few albums I have on vinyl but not CD.
