Sometimes repetition can be a good thing for a band. It seems to work for AC/DC, after all.

Yes, I agree with your opinion here, but could it also be possible that DF capaitalized on a great opportunity without "selling out" in any way?

I never said they sold out. I said they're horrible and repetitive songwriters and (by the looks of the vids i've seen) sloppy performers. I may be wrong and don't care to look back through the thread, but i don't think anyone accused them of selling out...

You'd be correct in saying that they're sloppy performers. I like Dragonforce a lot and I think they're a great live band, but they're sloppy. It really doesn't matter to me though because every time I've seen them, the sound hasn't really been that great so the average concertgoer couldn't tell the difference anyway. Still a great time at a show.

I agree! In the end, who really gives a shit? I still happen to enjoy DragonForce. They are not my most favorite band by a long shot, but I still enjoy them, regardless of what people ultimately say on here.
For those that don't like them, then don't listen to them, but for the rest of us that do happen to enjoy them, we'll continue to enjoy them as long as they keep putting out decent music.

It is so true! Whether you're a fan or not, you must admit that was funny!I'll buy their new CD and go to their next ATL show if at all possible. I honstly didn't see or hear any sloppiness in their playing at the show I was at. Even so, nobody's perfect. To each their own.
