New mastering secret/technique

I've been experimenting with mastering and saw in one of joeys vids that he had
a pod farm preamp in his mastering. So I've been messingaround and found a pretty good technique in opening up your mastering

1. Load up pod farm and only select preamps and set
American classic pre amp

2. Set the 2nd dial to 250hz and then dial that down 3db

3. Set the third dial to 12k and put that up by 3db

4. Then get last dial and set that to 15 k and put that up by 3db

5 then get an eq an low pass to 12k and ova

6. Done see how it sounds to my ears it opened up my mix and gave it energy

Any clips? I like to mix with my ears and not my eyes.

Can i use it without the mix getting louder? My master chain is really loud with around -4 db rms in my mix so i dont want it to be squashed even more ^^

I saw that video too and im pretty sure that he's using the pod farm 4-band eq, not a preamp...

Wat makes you think it was an eq if it was why would he use pod farm and not ozone or sum thing?
