New Slayer is terrible

Slayer's last real (real good) album was Seasons. The others since had their moments (the first three songs offa GHUA for example), but not enough to live up to what Slayer used to be. I really hoped that reuniting with Lombardo would put the spark back in the band, but as soon as I heard that Josh Abraham was producing, I knew that it would blow.

so many other bands have latched onto their schtick that they're not even outrageous anymore.

Did you know that before the term "death metal" was coined, extreme bands were called "Slayer babies"?

God Hates Us All wasn't THAT bad... but so far I haven't heard any of their new stuff.
