I got mine from walmart and dyed it black. It's since faded to a unique dark grayish color.

How'd you dye it?

Buy black dye and a 5 gallon bucket. I had to do it a couple times to get the dye to stick well. There is usually instructions on the dye bottle.

I'll be driving through Ohio next year on the way back East with my car for the summer (or perhaps in March during spring break), but I'll be on I-90/80 and will need a very good reason to take a detour.

Cool. I found a light blue denim jacket today at a Salvation Army for $8, and I'm probably going to dye it tomorrow. Can't wait for it to be covered in patches!
