When I first got into Opeth (Blackwater Park like everyone else) I found that My Arms, Your HEarse was my second favorite album of theirs.

ive love the 'middle/i think best era" in the Opeth era (MAYH, Still Life, Blackwater Park)
but still need to hear their first 2 albums

As far as favorites go, MAYH tops the list for me. I do enjoy(quite excessivly) their older/middle stuff, but i'd have to say Deliverance has successfully climbed to spot number 2. After seeing "Deliverance" and "Master's Apprentices" live, i was completely blown away by it, just re-enforces its spot at number 2. As far as songs go, i'd have to pick 2 or 3, but i'll leave it at "The Moor" and TBYF for right now. And seeing them twice in concert, i can say that they truely sound better live than they ever could recorded. What a badass band, heh
