I would like another Gallery. I know they've already done it, but they can do more of it. It'd be original at least in context of time since the other melodic death bands (or maybe I'm just thinking of In Flames) have all evolved away from the neo-classical stuff. I am a huge fan of all of DT's albums, but I'd like to see them get more complicated again. Ditch the verse chorus verse chorus structure that they use a lot more these days. I'd also like more accoustic guitar work, more dual leads, and more lyrics by Niklas.
Oddly enough, if they don't go that way, I want them to simplify things again and do something similar to Haven. I think that album exists in a different space than their other cd's and it is really excellent. As my girlfriend put it, it is a little like a metal Depeche Mode.
Above all I just hope their next cd is good.

It would be a tough challenge, but I hope the guys are ready for it after 2 not so great albums (just my opinion).

Id prefer these kind of band-related talks to discussing the facts and feelings of the forum members anytime. Its definitely not pointless. If that would be the truth, then this whole forum is pointless and we can all move to some chit-chat forum where we can all discuss the significant details of our lives. Btw. Siren, when are you going to post a pic in the forum members thread? @mardy: in general i enjoy this kind of discussions too, but there's something about this specific topic that bothers me. i can't explain it very well, but it has to do with the contradiction between hearing fans say "they should do this, because that's what i want/this is what makes sense with their current evolvement" and with what the band has said in some interviews that they do what keeps them interested. i'm trying to say that this is one of the things i appreciate a lot about this band, that they do whatever they please. we can sure guess what their next step will be, but i don't like hearing 'orders' about what they should do. hope it's a bit clearer now.

I thought so. Well, its quite likely that Ill visit Greece (Athens, Skopelos) this summer, maybe Ill see you in person then, if you arent such a chicken shit to avoid me.
