NFL 2009

GB just scored and recovered an onside kick and scored again...so hold on! We need a good close game for christ sakes!

As far as the Pats...def not thier year. They didn't want to tie-up money and overpay for certain vet D-men understandably...yet they ended up missing such players (Seymore, Vrabel, Harrison) performance, leadership etc. Kinda a rebuilding year on D. They need to draft the best pass rusher in the draft, period! The offense had the talent but overall underplayed bigtime!

So far I'm 3-0 for the teams I wanted to win, (not necessarily thought they would) winning... if the pack go down, it'll be 4-0.

The bengals bungled... no surprise... the cowboys and ravens... I thought would have a tougher time but rolled...

At this point, as long as the Vikings dont win it, I could care less who wins the superbowl...

That overtime scoring rule sucks and should be changed

I agree...if you mean both teams earn and should atleast have one possession. Ironically, the team that won, never touched the ball on offense...go figure?
wait...R U being sarcastic...probably?

god what a bullshit end of the game. there were so many fucked up (non)calls near the end that were just plain wrong or missed.

Helmet to helmet non-call, roughing the passer being called instead of offensive holding(? wtf), non-call on a facemask, etc.

Both teams should have at least one possession each instead of sudden death

Sure, of course...I've been saying this for a while now. Do it like the NCAA. If they don't want it exactly like the NCAA...then have kickoffs. If a team scores then they also have to kickoff and defend. If niether score on an ensuing kickoff, then start possessions and go like the NCAA does it. Maybe too much to ask for?

lol @ Rodgers kicking the ball into the defenders arms, no way he runs that in if he didnt, at least.

ur exactly right. If you look at the replay...if Rogers foot doesn't swing up and kick the ball...no way the Card defender is able to get under it, catch and return it. Funny, Rackers missed kick almost loses it for Cards...yet Rogers kick kinda wins it for the Cards.

There were some not-so-good calls in the last game (roughing the passer [facemask] should have been neutralized by offensive pass interference on Fitzgerald's second TD), but Green Bay was holding on just about every single pass play, so....

OT rules should be changed to give each offense a chance, but in this case GB had a chance, so I can't see how this instance would make one complain about OT. If anything, today's result supports the current rule. Just because a game is a shootout doesn't mean that the first team with the ball will win.

Fitzgerald steamrolling Woodson made me laugh. He sure as hell wont make you fumble if you do that to him before you catch the ball.
