NFL 2009

Of course you aren't writing the Jets off yet. For some retarded reason you think the Colts aren't very good.

Look at their schedule. The only convincing win against a playoff team came early against Arizona. They got lucky to beat New England and Baltimore and barely beat Jacksonville twice and Miami once. I didn't see anything fantastic about the Colts this season. Barely beating non-playoff teams and having all of the calls and all of the luck go their way doesn't make them capable of beating a team like Minnesota or New Orleans. However, they will beat the Jets.

I didn't think the Jets would win either. San Diego really played horribly.

And the Jets didn't, point is don't count them out. They've got a winning formula, especially for road victories.

They're a lot like the 07 Giants in a sense. Mediocre passing game, great rushing attack (though this Jets team has a better run game than the Giants did, but the Giants passing game isn't AS bad the Jets), and a great defense (with the notable difference here being that the Jets secondary is incredible whereas the Giants secondary was fucking AWFUL.)

I'm not by all means saying the Jets will beat the Colts, I think they need to have their A game all the way on Sunday to win, but they'll have a very good shot at winning.

I just have to hope the Saints can stop Favre and the Vikings next week more than anything. They've got a great passing attack, we've got a great secondary. ADP doesn't really scare me anymore like he previously would have, but I realize he is still a threat.

The Jets won't have a good chance at winning just like the Ravens didn't. One dimensional offenses, especially those that rely heavily on the run, don't win championships in the NFL anymore.

The Colts are going to employ the gameplan they did against the Ravens. Oh, and the reason Rex Ryan is always saying "I hope Peyton doesn't play" is because Peyton shreds his defenses year after year.

This game isn't going to be pretty for the Jets or Jets fans. Just sayin...

I don't think peyton will have that easy of a job against their secondary, i want the Colts to win but Im pretty sure itll be a field goal deciding game..

Eli Manning got a lot better though, seemingly out of nowhere. Anyway if Favre hadn't giftwrapped an overtime pick-6 the Packers would've lost that superbowl.

Well his stats were never that great even with Burress and Strahan on the same team. He just didn't lose games. Kind of like Trent Dilfer in 2000.

For the record, the phins swept the jets...just thought I'd point that out being a Miami fan

Naturally I hope the colts win...just cant stand Rex or Sanchez, or the whole attitude of the team. Specifically, their defense talking trash about the wildcat after the phins beat them with it; now the offense uses it every game.

Difference being he hasn't been over-hyped due to team performance. He finished 11th in the NFL (Passer Rtg). 11-20 (grading on the 2009 QB curve) would be mediocre.

I dont even know what to think any more... after seeing the chargers lay down and die sheesh... I want to see the Saints and Colts go to the superbowl though... just because I think it'll be the best chance of a shootout and the outcome would be cool either way. (and fuck brett favre... I'm sick of him. NO needs to make sure Julius Peppers is in the stands and somehow making eye contact with him during the game )

And people said the exact thing about the Chargers. "Oh the Jets don't have a chance, Revis can't cover every receiver. The Chargers give up yards but not points, etc."

I'm not discrediting how good their defense is, in particular Darrelle Revis, that guy is really good. So is Lito Sheppard. My point is there's nothing the Jets are going to do on Sunday that Peyton hasn't already seen before because he's played Rex Ryan's defense numerous times and the outcome has never been pretty for Rex.

The biggest problem for the Jets is their one-dimensional offense. Did you not see what the Colts did Sunday to the Ravens, and have done all season long to top rushers in the league? The Jets will no doubt get some yards, hell I'd be shocked if Shonn Greene doesn't break 100 yards, but that's not how you are going to beat the Colts. How many times do the Colts have to beat a run heavy team before they get a little freakin respect? Sheesh.
