Pens/Kings with Pens winning in 7

I don't think Boston can contain Pittsburgh's high powered offense. And Jonathan Quick is going to shut down the Hawks IMO, the guy has stolen games for the Kings once again these playoffs.

Gonna be a hell of an ending to these playoffs I'll tell you that right now.

I don't know if any net-minder is good enough to stop the Pens sick offense. But ill at least say Rask is performing better than some may give him credit and peaking at the right time...he certainly outplayed the great king Henry in the last round. Rask will need to be even that much better and then some against the Pens. If he can outplay Vokoun which is a possibility, along with the Bs defense and overall team defense gives the Bs a chance. They'll have to do exactly what they did during the Cup finals to a loaded Vancouver team...beat the living shit out of them! The Pens will be in for the fight of their lives...cant wait. I just hope the Bs are not too conservative and unwilling to take chances...if this is so they'll have no chance. The Bs can actually score now and are getting major points from their D-men as well.



I think the Kings take down the Hawks.

These conference finals appear to be as good as we could've hoped for. And for only the 2nd time in history the final four still standing happen to be the last four cup winners.
 
C'mon haters, you can't tell me there is a small part of you that wants the big bad Bruins to beat the those whiny Pens. Christ, James Neal blow dries (for real) his hair before pre game warm ups...wtf is that?

I'm indifferent towards the Bruins/Pens series. I'm cool with both teams, and I like multiple players on each team, especially Kunitz on Pittsburgh, he was one of my favorite Ducks when he was here. I guess if I had to pick a team to root for, I'd pick Pittsburgh because they're a more entertaining team to watch, but I don't care that much. I just want good hockey.
 
All i can say is seeing Crosby give a blatant slash to a player and then bitch and moan on his way to box as if he didn't do anything? STFU and just take it you lil bitch. He gets more calls in his favor than Jesus! Then like a real tough guy he trys to start shit with Rask as players are going off the ice...really? That's the shit in why i woulnt root for his team, why I hate him etc...he does this shit constantly. A great talent, but doesnt deserve the face of the NHL label imo. If they were to play Montreal (whenever)...I swear I'd root for the hated Habs.

Krejci with two more goals, quietly the top performer in these playoffs so far. Rask was amazing...nice win Bs.

Hawks series game 1 is just like I expected, they dominated and Quick kept it from 10-1
 
Well, the Bs survived an all out early blitz by the Pens thanks to the play of Rask. The Pens were hitting like crazy almost trying to prove their toughness too. They dont need to do this, it got them off their game...this plays right into the Bruins hands. Pens were gassed by the third period, Bruins had already taken over the game.

Keep in mind the Pens hit like 4 posts and a couple just trickled past the net. They didn't dominate the Pens, the Pens just didn't get the bounces they wanted.

I'm pretty sure It'll be a different story next game.

Wow Sys...I know you hate the Bs but give credit when due. As mentioned the Bruins survived an all out onslaught and yes the Pens hit many posts. But maybe that had sumn to do with Rasks angles etc...regardless he was amazing in net. Bergeron also didn't even get a shot off on a clean breakaway. There is always missed chances both ways. No it wasn't a dominant performance...but I sure didn't expect a dominant Bs performance in Pitt for game-1. But the Bs did control much of that game and held them scoreless. I expect different things from the Pens going forward.
 
I hate the post argument unless it's an open net..the first two posts(I can't remember all 4) weren't like inside/open net..the one from Crosby hit the outside and pretty much equivalent to a miss.

If you watch Quick/Kings this happens all the time too, no need for excuses...getting beat 3-0 by the Bruins is kind of a big deal at home. They were also undisciplined and took a lot of penalties, the Bruins didn't play as physical, but why should they? The Pens messed up a lot in that game. You can't expect to score more than 3 goals a game against the Bruins to win, they aren't going to let in that many.

Does anyone else hate Pierre as much as me? I wish he would stop voicing his stupid annoying opinions on the ice..especially about the delay of game penalties.
 
Ha ha...yeah Pierre is a dweeb. He either rips a team or is in bed with them. And his points are simply too obvious...tell us something we already didn't just see with are own eyes please.

Good point RMS about the Bruins physical play...why push it etc. The Bs being physical / tough means they can also withstand just about any teams punishment that is dished out. I hope the Pens outhit the Bs this series because the Pens will waste useless energy running around etc. and this will take away from their skill game. The Pens about to go on a PP and Malkin decides to fight Bergeron and sit for five...thanks you jeezus.
