Don't forget that Jonathan Quick has played well, That win against LA the other night gave them a huge boost, because IMO they got away with that delay of game call in game 2, which ultimately lead to the game winner. San Jose has played great all series so far, regardless of what the series is right now.

Zetterberg and Datsyuk vs Kopitar would be fun to see in a seven game series. Since the former two are shutting down Toews and Kane and Detroit's 3rd and 4th lines are playing better than Chicago's I think the Wings will play in the western conference finals this year.

Give the kid from Buffalo some credit..he's scored points in the last 2 games and made Sharp seem awesome in the first round
Not that im a big fan but the Wings have that ole championship look to them right now. Series is far from over but if they make it to conf. finals...I think they beat LA or SJ.
Wings / Hawks game-4...thinking it's going to be nuts. Big needed push from Hawks, Wings at home, the way game-3 ended...cant wait for this one.

Granted, I haven't watched much of the Wings-Hawks series so far, but in that series against Anaheim, Detroit really didn't impress me at all. They barely squeaked through, and all of there wins came in really close games. If the Ducks would've scored in OT in game 4, that series ends in Anaheim in 5. Props to the Wings though, as they were probably the better team (definitely in games 6 and 7) , and they got most of the lucky bounces to go their way, but I can't see them going any further than possibly the Conference Finals. They have no chance against LA or SJ if they get there. (I'll gladly eat crow if they prove me wrong though)
I hear you, but Detroit looks much better in this series. If they can sustain this type of play...they can beat anyone imo. Who knows, it certainly wont be easy.

Thank jeezus the Bs pulled out game-3 (2-1 )...or I would have completely flipped my shit! A great effort dominating much of the game only to see so many blown scoring chances all the while Queen Henry was immense as well. Yet Bs trailed into the 3rd and remained tied at one until late. My bigger issue was once again the Keystone Cops Refs. I don't know were to start...but all I'll say is the Rangers have gone like 8 straight periods at home without a penalty called against. F'in joke what was missed tonite. Last time I saw that much blood and gashes...was in Braveheart.
Line of the nite was that little homo between the glass- "Bs 4th line is like a bad rash that wont go away". Pierre was also ripping the Rangers pretty much the whole nite...cant wait until the next time Pierre has a question for Tortorella lol.

I don't remember paying that much to the penalties not being called against the Caps, but I definitely noticed some weak calls(Horton's 1st for instance) and some strong missed ones on the Rangers side..I hope there isn't some hope it's a NY vs. LA/Det/Chi market kind of thing..thank god the Rangers are terrible though, they do not deserve to advance with how bad they play

Way to go Bs!!! Torey was the story for me. The kid T. Krug literally came out of nowhere joining the club at playoff time and played amazingly. Great puck moving D-play and even more impressive chipped in with 4 goals.
