NHL 2014

Can people get off the "not playing into the Bs physical game" stuff. Every team is now playing very physical...that is the playoffs as we know. The Bs are not the fastest team out there, but when they focus on their own team speed and skill like they did yest against the Wings and beating them at their own game etc. They always bring the grit but if the Bs focus on their own speed and skill and worry less about trying to run around and kill everything...that's the key to their success imo.

Nice Jackets...showed some stones tonite.

As said...nothing surprises in the playoffs. But if the Pens lose to this team, itll be a big failure. They couldnt have asked for a better opening opponent other than if they faced TB.

Also, i think the officiating as a whole should focus more on the goaltenders. Crawford at the end of period-1 clearly flopped as if he was tripped / interfered with etc. Instantly everyone calls for goaltender interference. Other players get called for diving etc. Plus half the time it seems the goalie (like Price) initiates the contact as it is.

Kane! He was amazing tonight. Everyone on the ice was thinking pass when he hit the winner. Entertaining, back-and-forth game. Glad to see the violence has been toned down in this series. I think it's going 7.

I have to imagine that Oshie must be a frustrating player to watch. He's obviously really skilled with the puck, but it doesn't translate to game action often enough. It's like he needs to slim down and get faster, or bulk up and power through crowds like Hossa does. Kane always has space because he's very fast.

Agree on Oshie. Some were born to be hockey players, he was born to be in shootouts lol. Idk, Hawks have the heart of champs, not surprised they came back...it's a new series and its been a good one!

Ducks made defensive mistakes and Dallas was pretty fucking fast this latest game. Interesting series. I watched the first two Habs games but then didn't have time for the other two. I watch all Sharks games because they're the best. And they need to win tonight's game too.

If Pittsburgh loses, Bylsma is gone. Just like what happened to Boudreau in Washington.

It's not Bylsma's fault that his goalie is a joke and the UFA they brought in has a heart murmur or whatever it is. Can't do nothing about Shero long term signing Fleury. I think he even has a sports psychologist after last season or something.

Why is it ridiculous? lol

What has he done? Sure he won the gold in the Olympics, but honestly the Sweden game was a fluke and the USA game the forwards embarrassed USA so badly that Price didn't have to do anything. His numbers aren't amazing and his team is stacked in almost every position. Not giving this guy credit until he stands on his head somewhere along the line.

Oh I know he hasn't done much in the Post Season, and yes he had a team in front of him at the Olympics, but he made the key saves he had too when his team couldn't score. His numbers aren't amazing? (Not sure if you're talking about the Habs here) Really... he's pretty much the only reason Montreal made it to the playoffs and the team in front of him only decided to show up in the first round with a balanced 4 line attack. He was lights out in Game 2, Yeah Montreal dominated, but he made some fantastic up close saves in that game. Not to mention he's won 15 of his last 18 starts

But saying you wouldn't consider him a top tier goalie is fucking absurd. And I don't think you remember that playoff series that Tim Thomas and Carey Price had a few years ago in the first round. He was lights out good man, they both were even muzmaze would agree with this.

Top tier is guys like Rinne, Lundqvist, Miller of years past..I might put Rask up there if it wasn't for his team, but seriously Price is having one good year and a sub(average?) post season and you're ready to call him top tier? He was supposed to be good years ago and had fans doubting...MTL even drafted the top goalie in the draft because they weren't sure...same with Rask and Subban a few years ago

LOL They drafted Zachary Fucale because he is taking Price's place when Price's time is up. which isn't anytime soon. And I never said he was top tier... he's close though, but to think you wouldn't even consider him up there makes me cringe.

Also he's had more than 1 good season. Get your facts straight.

Everything you post isn't even remotely funny. I don't understand this
