Non-gothic female vocalists

It seems that the gothic metal bands have all the best female metal vocalists. I was just wondering who your favourite female metal vocalist, who is NOT in a gothic metal band, is.

I suppose a lot of you are going to say Angela Gossow but I think Morgan Lander from Kittie is pretty good.

Anyway, who do you like. Oh, and Metalcore singers count as well.

Cristina Scabbia is brilliant but I'd say Lacuna Coil is still gothic metal.

Why are people still surprised by women doing death metal growling? People, regardless of gender, can train their voices to sound anyway they want.
