I had to say Lobodomy but then again it's very hard to compare those 2 songs I think. They both have really intense parts

I like both but LoBodomy definitely got the stronger and heavier riff during the verse so fuck the old stuff!!!

I don't really care which song is better as long as one of them sounds good but I don't understand those compare a and b songs threads. That makes no sense. Why NC and LoBodomy - a softer melodic metal song with a brutal metal in your face song ? Why Hate me and ETID? Why KTS and Hate me? Why don't compare Trashed and Black Widow? The only songs you can compare are the 4 slow songs and maybe the 3 hardest ones - HCDR, IYWPPFW and LoBodomy.

WHAT THE FUCK??? Roope pwns Ale in all aspects. He's cooler, better player, gives Alexi more chances to compose whatever he wants as Roope will still be able to play it whereas Ale wouldn't, more epic, way better onstage and he's a fucking legend. Seriously, amongst all the things I've read lately in this forum this has been the thing that has freaked me out the most.

What did I say about epic? I said that Roope is epic. He's a legend, he beats the shit out of Alexander's playing hands tied and he has way better stage presence.
If you're going to tell me (with good reasons and not only because it's your PERSONAL taste) why the newer stuff is theoretically worse than the old one go on, if you're just going to rant about how COB aren't making anymore the music you like then GTFO, I don't have any interest about that. If I want to read that I can go to Blabbermouth f.e.

Excuse me if you don't like that I defend Children Of Bodom, because, like it or not, the band that wrote Bed Of Razors is the same that has written Smile Pretty For The Devil, it doesn't matter if you like it or not. It's a fact. What I still lack to see is arguments and reasons to prove why ''old Bodom'' was better than ''new Bodom''.
And no matter how many times you rant about it, Roope is way better guitar player than Alexander. And whereas Roope has Stone or Waltari or Sinergy for example to prove himself outside Bodom, Alexander has nothing. He played a solo in SW and in a couple of covers, and I do agree that he was always underrated under the shadow of Alexi, but still Roope is better. Alexander would never be able to play a To Hell And Back or a Suicide By My Side, or at least not what Roope played in there.
