I like the disjointedness. I listen to music pretty much for mood/atmosphere, and the chaotic structuring has a cool feel to me.

If you were to remove the vocal lines, and ask me to pick a Primus song out of a lineup of a 100, I'd nail it every time. Though, I could probably do the same for Cattle Retardation. I'd simply have to point to the sounds of pots being thrown off of a balcony while David Carridan asphyxiates in a closet with an electric cord wrapped around his genitals.

Not at all, this goes back to how I said I may have been reiterating myself with synonyms. Feel and Sense are bad words to use as relating to music as it is kind of difficult to explain the meaning behind the attachment to a sound.

Back to Primus, they definitely have a distinct identity, just no real mood/atmosphere. Top notch talent but their music makes me want to skateboard.
