I don't like the new one as much as their others yet, but I haven't listened to it closely really. I probably won't either until I buy it. It has considerably less 'metal' bits than the others (well, besides Arte Novecento). And yeah Novembrine Waltz is one of the best albums ever. Classica is amazing too, just less so (it's more 'metal' too).

I could never get into them. I wouldnt say they are terrible, but they could be better. They show glimpses of being great, but then they fall off somewhere leading there.

I do like the new album, its showing them maturing and trying new things (in a goodway) i'll continue to listen to it and see how that goes.

Novembre are fucking brilliant. I haven't heard the new album yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Classica is probably my favourite album, followed closely by Novembrine Waltz.

I have not yet heard the new one. I really like Classica and Novembrine Waltz. I seem to remember Novembre getting a lot of hate on the Opeth forum before but they always seemed like a unique band to me. Maybe it's because people keep naming them as an Opeth alternative which is not quite correct so people go into them with the wrong expectations. Novembre sounds a lot less complex and more straightforward to me, but they have a nice Mediterranean atmosphere going in their music. In that respect they are a nice change from Scandinavian style bands with a similar sound.

It's better than "Arte Novecento" but doesn't have anything as good as "Nursery Rhyme" on that cd...I think it might be better than "Wish I Could Dream It Again/Dreams D'Azur" too but not sure.
