Now building Load-boxes with variable line out.

Dude, I sold some old stuff and I've got some money to buy you one.
Can you give me an accurate quote for the total price, with the new shipping price to France ?

Also, is the delay still 7-8 weeks ?

$220 USD

I am still saying that the wait time is 7-8 weeks, but only becuase I haven't gotten an accurate new time which has slowly decreased to maybe 3-4 weeks, but it still not completely accurate.

Its all the same in Europe for the most part, $50 USD. The final price would be $220 USD or 178 Euro. If you are still interested, send me an email.

Did a few updates, be sure to check out the OP:

PRICE:

$160 USD

Final price with shipping:

US: $195 USD
CAN: $203 CAD
EU: €178
AU: $210 AUD

Prices are now set and are no longer subject to change.

TURNAROUND:

3-4 business weeks in best the case scenario and based on how far you are from California. Maximum shipping time is 5-6 weeks.

A couple of questions:

- Is this load box an 8 ohm load?

- Is the "cab out load" in parallel with the "line out load"?

- My main recording amp is a small 15W (2x6V6) head.
Will this low wattage amp into your load box produce a "strong enough" signal into the DAW? (Tried a Palmer Speaker Simulator briefly, and found that one to deliver a really weak signal...)

It is whatever impedance you want it to be

It is not. The cabinet out is in series with the power amp. It allows you to play with a cabinet like you normally would and still have a line out signal, the load is not being used. When the switch is selected, the amp goes into the load and not the cabinet

This normally could be done with a resistor value change, but with my loadbox, it has a 26dB boost option on it so that typical 120W amps can still provide a signal at late night bedroom jamming volumes in case some people don't like too much poweramp distortion. That feature would be able to get you to those levels that you need. The amount of boost is overkill so all amps under the sun will be capable of producing a large enough signal on the line out.

Because of my little mishap and injury from a drilling malfunction, I will be providing free impulses when released to the current list of buyers who are currently waiting for their loadboxes as an apology for a one week delay. I have emailed the current buyers in queue but made notice here in case they don't get their email.

I understand needing packing fees but for those pre-fit USPS boxes that you literally just stuff with newspaper or bubble wrap and use their own adhesives and drop off at the post off kiosk which is open 24/7... I'm not paying $35 shipping on a USPS bill of $17 max.

Its not just on shipping. I take out on paypal fees, plus I charge a little extra just to be safe as every shipment has a different price (I don't use the prepaid boxes). That safety barrier distance is also used for insurance/warranty coverage so I can afford to need to do work on and reship units out. I can change the actual prices of the loadbox to account for that, but the FINAL price will still be the same.

So in reality the loadbox is really $175. The $160 is a subtotal, and the final price consolidates shipping, handling (cost of packaging and paypal fees), warrantee and a $1 to $2 buffer. I could eliminate that, but my local shipping is $24 and you would not get any warrantee.

If anybody wants, I can "update" the pricing (or wording) to reflect where the final price comes from.

Updated with new picture, it wasn't the best quality so this is more of an artistic picture of the new color scheme. Now in "Road Worn Flat Black"
